Festival Lookbook / Insert Love

Today's festival look is a more casual, laid-back look because lets be honest by day 3 we've given up with what were wearing so I wanted to pick an outfit I would just throw together for the final day of partying. I've just done a quick fishtail plait with my hair to keep it out the way after a quick spruce of dry shampoo to freshen it up. The aztec print shorts are perfect for summer as there lightweight and the elastic waist means there super comfy. I teamed them with this super cute logo fringe tee which again is very lightweight so perfect for the hotter days. To finish the outfit I added my trusty converse and these gorgeous heart shaped sunnies. Perfect for raving all day and through the night!

Festival Lookbook / Kimono Loco

Kimono's are all over the high street at the moment and slowly taking over my wardrobe. They are perfect for pretty much all occasions, acting as cover ups in the hot weather and thin jackets in the evening, they are just so versatile and I would definitely recommend investing in one. This tribal print fringe kimono I actually picked up in the boohoo sale last year but with the quirky print I think its perfect for a festival. Because there is so much going on in the print I decided to keep the outfit quite simple with a crop top and shorts combo, thrown together with my trusty black boots.

Festival Lookbook / Bohemian Beauty

I'm back for another week of festival inspiration and todays posts includes these amazing bohemian palazzo trousers. I think these are perfect for a festival as they are so lightweight and thin so perfect in the warm weather and when it gets a bit colder. The crotchet detail top is so flattering and to finish the perfect bohemian outfit the only choice was a head chain. There are so many around the high street at the moment and this one from Topshop is not too oversized and easy to style. I think these pieces just work so well together and complement each other perfectly.

Festival Lookbook / The Bumbag

So the final look for this week was inspired from Glastonbury and Reading where it always seems to pour down with rain no matter what! This jacket is perfect for summer showers because its so lightweight and thin so its easy to wear but also easy just to shove in a bag just in case the rain clouds start forming. I love how versatile this jacket is as you can wear whatever you want and still showcase your outfit whilst staying dry! Many festival goers will opt for the standard short and crop top combo which is so easy to just chuck on, you can chop and change the look around as much as you want and its perfect for the warm weather. The wellies are actually clear so again they are so versatile as you just have to change socks to create a different look, I went for these cute frilly aztec print socks to keep with the tribal kind of theme. To finish this look I added a bumbag...a festival goers best friend. You can keep all your essentials in one place and not have to worry about anyone rummaging through. There are so many different patterns and styles out but I love the monochrome print on this one and the size is just perfect for all your essentials.

Festival Lookbook / Western Vibes

I absolutely love this outfit it just screams festival and I am so happy with how the overall look came out. I love the tribal print on this playsuit and the boldness of the red, the colours work so well together and the print is perfect for a festival. The suede jacket adds the perfect western feel and the fabric is so soft I will definitely get a lot of wear out of this. I love the sandals I think they just add the perfect finishing touch to the whole outfit and the gold jewellery and feather hairband perfectly compliment the whole outfit. Perfection if you ask me.

Festival Lookbook / Tropical Pom Poms

For the second instalment I wanted to try out one of this seasons hottest trends co-ords. This ensemble is from Missguided, who in my opinion have some of the most incredible co-ords around all for such affordable prices, I would definitely recommend checking them out. I particularly love the print on this piece as you may have noticed from my Instagram I am obsessed with tropical prints at the moment and I think the green really compliments my skin tone. I picked up the kimono from boohoo as I just wanted something thin and simple to throw over and this chiffon number is perfect and will go with most of my wardrobe. The sandals are from a new website I found spylovebuy and I actually picked them up during a buy one get one free offer. To finish the outfit I added this gorgeous floral headpiece I picked up from depop for a couple of quid because well no festival outfit is complete without a floral headband!

Festival Lookbook / Tassels & Fringe

The next two week's on my blog are dedicated to festival fashion. Now I love festivals because you can really experiment with different looks and try out things you wouldn't perhaps wear any other time. I wanted to start with a look that was closest to what I would wear to a festival. The starting point for me was the whole fringe/ tassel/ rock chic kind of look. The dress was a Primark find a few years back and I love the ombre detailing on the tassels, it just gives the dress that little bit more edge. The best compliment to a LBD for me is black boots and these are the comfiest boots I have EVER owned, ever! I am quite a paranoid person so when I do go to festivals I like to pack as light as possible and so big bags are always a necessity for me. This tassel beauty is from Boohoo and I think it compliments the look perfectly and it fits in all the essentials...perfect!
