Summer Pastels

Paisley print is everywhere at the moment and its safe to say I am obsessed with it. I picked up this bargain kimono from Primark for something like £7 it was an absolute steal and even though I was unsure about the length I fell in love with the print and it just had to be mine. I teamed it with a simple cami and jeans so as not wash out the pattern and these gorgeous platform sandals I got from spylovebuy when they did a BOGOF offer on there summer sandals. The fabric on this kimono is so lightweight its perfect for throwing on over a bikini on the beach or dressing up for a night out.

Double Denim

Some of you may have noticed that I am a bit of a spendaholic when it comes to clothes and shoes…its a bit of an addiction of mine but recently I’ve tried to be more strict with myself and what I'm buying. When news of the Topshop sale hit my inbox I just had to check it out...so after a lot of late night browsing and two orders later here we are. This co-ord has been in my notebook for months and months while I decided whether or not to buy it. The top is just a simple bralet with a zip up the back and the jeans are mom fit with cut out detail below the knee. I usually only wear skinny jeans but I've seen these style jeans look so flattering on others I wanted to try it out on myself. I'm still unsure about the fit on myself so I might size up next time and try wearing them with a belt but I love the print and the length is perfect for those cooler summer days.

Pineapple Print

Pineapple print is absolutely everywhere at the moment and I love it but I'm not very brave when it comes to actually wearing it! I'm still learning what suits me and only recently started experimenting with new styles and actually wearing colour (I was one of those kids that wore all back everyday). This skirt I have to admit was a spontaneous online purchase which I was fully expecting to return as I did not think I would be able to pull it off but I am pleasantly surprised. I've only recently become a fan of midi skirts and the slits in this one are so flattering but not revealing it's perfect for day to night kind of wear. As the print is quite bold I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit quite low key so not to draw away from the gorgeous print so I teamed it with a simple bralet and my trusty gladiator sandals!

Tropical Topshop Bralet

This has got to my favourite outfit to date I love the combination of everything I'm wearing and each individual piece on its own. Surprising that my favourite outfit involves pink as I'm generally not much of a pink person but hey ho. I'm sure you would have all seen this bralet from Topshop by now I have had it for quite a while but I've been waiting for this shirt to come back in stock to finish the outfit as the weather isn't quite warm enough to just wear this skirt and top. I have been obsessed with this blouse since I first saw it and I have been patiently waiting for it to come back into stock to snap it up. The shoes are La Moda and they are so summery with the perfect heel height I can just tell I will get so much wear out of these. Finished with my trusty pink coat just to finish the look. You know what they say pink to make the boys wink!!

P.S. Excuse the chipped nails.

Monotropical

River Island has to be my all time favourite shop for summer! Every year they deliver the goods and armed with a 25% off voucher from last week's Grazia magazine I allowed myself a little pay day spree. The first piece that caught my eye was this gorgeous mix print tee. I love how they have incorporated the stunning shade of blue into this and the boxy fit of the tee is very sports luxe-esqe. I teamed this tee with my Primark smart joggers with mesh knee detail and some simple black sandals for a casual but sporty look. The sports luxe trend is one of my favourites for summer as I love anything with mesh and I love the sporty laid-back look. I can see me outfit repeating this a lot!

Festival Lookbook / Selfie

So here it is the final post in my festival lookbook, I really hope you have enjoyed these posts and they have given you some inspiration for what to wear if your going to a festival this summer. The key to this look is layering - as you all know the British weather is so unreliable and so I put this outfit together based on the fact one minute it could be pouring with rain and the next it could be sweltering. Logo tee's are everywhere at the moment and this simple crop top is perfect for layering as it makes a statement on its own but works well under this checkered shirt. I think these ankle style welly boots add the perfect girly finish to the usual clompy welly boots and you can pick them up from ebay for pennies! This outfit can take you through the day straight into night and if the weather cools down too much just chuck on a leather jacket over the top and you ready to rock!
