Nanshy Brushes

Nanshy are a brand which have been on my radar for quite some time and ever since I received my first blending brush at an event a year or two back, its safe to say I have been hooked. Last year I was lucky enough to receive this set to try out from the bloggers festival and a couple of these have become firm favourites which I use daily. I have recently started investigating cruelty free brands and its amazing to see that Nanshy are 100% vegan, cruelty free and approved by PETA! The brushes themselves are such high quality with an air of luxury you would expect from the likes of MAC or Sigma but for half the price. They are hand crafted and use synthetic taklon bristles which absorb less product and transfer less bacteria.

My favourites by far are the buffed base* and the contouring brush*. How I lived without the buffed base brush in my life I am not really sure but it has jumped miles ahead of my real techniques buffing brush and I take it absolutely everywhere with me. The bristles are so soft, and mixed with the density, provide the perfect tool for creating a flawless look. The contouring brush is slanted to fit the natural contours of your cheeks which really define, shape and contour the cheek area. The soft and dense bristles make this the perfect brush for cream, liquid and powder products and the large angled shape means its also great for highlighter and bronzer too!

When it comes to flash smoky eyes and clean cut creases I am most definitely not the girl to go to. So, unfortunately I haven't had much use for the angled detailer* or the pencil brush* and although I do like the stippling brush* and use this for tinted moisturisers quite often, I prefer a more dense brush so I find I reach for the RT stippling brush more. However, overall, I am so impressed with the quality of these brushes and the affordability of the entire range. The wooden chunky handles make these easy to work with and to hold, the brushes themselves are incredibly soft with zero fallout after washing several times. If your looking for high quality, affordable brushes, I would highly recommend checking out Nanshy.
