2015 Resolutions

2014 for me was possibly one of the hardest years of my life and I faced some difficult challenges and decisions so I am very happy to see the back of it! 2015 for me is the year I buckle down and sort my life out (or at least attempt to). This isn’t one of those cliche ‘new year, new me’ kind of posts as I think to be perfectly honest they are a pile of poop. I want to set myself 3 realistic goals that I can see myself sticking to and achieving throughout the year!

1. Health:

January is the time where everyone I know rushes out to join the nearest gym, bangs on about calories and diets and starts focusing on their health – well for a couple of weeks anyway. This is slightly different for me as being underweight for my height and age, exercising has never been high on my to do list for fear of loosing even more weight. This year my main focus is to ensure I am eating 3 meals a day. You can ask anybody who knows me and they will tell you how much I love food but sometimes working long days and stupid shift patterns totally mixes up my eating habits! I am going to make a considerable effort to eat more and hopefully gain some weight (any recipe ideas are more than welcome). I also need to focus on drinking more water as every time I go to the doctors they always pull me up on this and every time I brush it off and don’t really pay much attention. This time I listened and I am going to start drinking endless amounts as I have years of making up to do.

2. Debt free:

This has pretty much been a resolution for me since I was old enough to have a credit card but now is the time to get serious and grow up. Ive always been a bit of a shopaholic, usually paying off my overdraft on payday only to land right back in it the next day because of a new handbag or gorgeous pair of shoes! Since I graduated and started working full time this has become my main focus and although there have been a couple of slips (I couldn’t help myself) I am finally knocking things off the list and if I stick to my 6 month finance plan by June I will be completely debt free. 

3. Blog

Thirdly and finally is my little blog which I am sorry to say has been neglected over the last month of two! Working in hospitality over the Christmas period is so crazy busy Ive barely had time to sleep let alone blog! Now that it’s all calmed down, I will be focusing on regular posts and improving my photography skills as I am hoping to get a DSLR for my birthday! Hopefully you will be hearing from me a lot more!
