On Friday me and some of the blogging girls popped over to Fareham to visit our good friend Amy for a long overdue catchup. After grabbing some lunch and a quick shopping trip we made our way to this gorgeous little independent coffee house to grab some tea and cake and have a good old natter. First impressions were breathtaking: is this not the cutest, most instagrammable coffee house you have ever seen?! We were all snapping away taking in the delightful surroundings debating over which cakes to try and lusting over the incredible interior.
After much deliberation I opted for the gluten free Victoria sponge, Karis decided on the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and Alice chose the lemon meringue pie. We all tucked in and it was smiles all round as our tastebuds were extremely satisfied by what we chose. I’m glad I only opted for the one slice but I could have easily ordered about ten after seeing the choices on offer. I almost wish I had picked up a few slices to take away and enjoy later on.
This independent coffee house also offers a selection of made to order savoury food which is available to eat in or take away alongside a variety of different alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately this time we were all too full to check out the savoury options be we have already decided we need to book a table to revisit this adorable little eatery and trial some more of its incredible menu. After studying the vast variety of pies, pastries and quiches on offer, there are some scrumptious options available and I look forward to trying some of these next time we visit.
If you’re ever in Fareham be sure to pop by Cackleberrys and pick up some delicious treats!
