Festive Styling with West Quay

Back in November I was lucky enough to be invited to an exclusive Christmas event at West Quay shopping centre along with Jess, Brogan, Alice and Kat and the lovely Frank PR girls. We started the evening with canapés and bubbles in Wagamama’s and being a complete waga virgin I was very excited to start tasting some of their delicious dishes. We sampled a variety of treats from chilli squid to lollipop prawns to edamame beans to my newest addiction gyoza. I absolutely loved everything I tried even the squid (which I am very surprised about) and I will definitely be venturing out to my local restaurant as soon as possible.

We then made our way to Oasis where we discussed the current trends and the new season essentials in store at the moment. The party wear was full of rich jacquard prints and embellishments with some winter florals thrown in for good measure – a change from the usual glitter and sparkle but a chic and sophisticated one. I absolutely adore the check boucle skirt on display in the changing rooms and the lace trim jacquard dress is to die for. The new season focuses on stripes in the usual oasis colour palette with hints of denim and suede throughout – nice to see the 70s trend is here to stay!

Our final stop was the bodyshop where we were introduced to the body shop christmas ranges and their new scent frosted plum (which fyi smells AH-MAZING). The body shop have released two ranges for their Christmas season party looks this year one based on gold and one based on silver. We were talked through all the products in each range and given time to have a little play around with everything, including the gorgeous vintage inspired sparklers which I absolutely fell in love with!

Thank you so much to Laura and Hayley, I had a fabulous evening with the girls and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be heading back to the body shop to pick up one of those sparklers now their in the sale….or maybe both!
